Ross Equipment is closed for Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Memorial Day, and Labor Day

After Hours Service

Ross Equipment offers after hours service for emergencies only. Customer errors or damage will be billed at $95.00 hour. Weekend service is only available on customers paying for weekend rentals. Call our emergency service tech at 602-695-0455.

How do I open an account?

Click here to open our credit application. Our online credit application can be filled out online and printed, or printed and filled out. Our credit manager is Lynne Welton and can be reach directly at 602-386-1258. Please allow for 3-4 days to process credit application.

Do you have any training programs available?

Ross Equipment offers familiarization and operator training programs for aerial work platforms, boomlifts, forklifts, rough terrain and telescopic reachforks. Our safety training class is comprised of a safety video, hands on walk around, and operator training on the equipment. Classes are scheduled by our sales people, and are $75.00 per person. Ross Equipment's Customer Portal is an easy-to-use web-based application that gives customers all the information they want and need at their fingertips. How long are your rentals?

Ross Equipment rents equipment based on a 8hr day, 5 day work week, and 20 day work month. Our shortest rental is a one day rental. Because of the cost associated with inspecting and prepping a machine for rental, we do not do 1/2 day rentals. There are prices breaks for a weekly rental and monthly rental. What is the Personal Property Surcharge?

Ross Equipment Rentals is required to collect a 1.5% surcharge for personal property tax per Arizona Tax Legislation S.B. 1413. Below is the actual wordage on the requirement:

Arizona Tax Legislation 7/11/05
S.B. 1413: Surcharges; rental equipment. Laws 2005, Chapter 259.
Although not actually a tax bill, this measure requires persons engaged in the business of renting heavy equipment to specified industries to collect a 1.5% surcharge for the purpose of paying personal property tax levied against the equipment.

What is the environmental fee?

Ross Equipment is committed to doing its part to protect our environment. In the conduct of our rental business, we handle a number of materials, such as waste oils, solvents and petroleum products that may be harmful to the environment, and therefore must be disposed of properly and in accordance with the law. Ross Equipment charges an environmental fee on all equipment rentals. This is a common practice by all rental companies, and the environmental fee is subject to change without notice.
